Tickets and gameday information for 2021-22 uOttawa varsity events
With the safety and convenience of student-athletes, employees and fans being of the utmost importance, University of Ottawa Varsity Athletics has released the following information about purchasing tickets and attending uOttawa varsity events.
For the 2021-22 season, tickets to varsity home events are exclusively for sale online. No tickets will be available for purchase at the door. This measure is in place to ensure events are not sold above the capacity agreed upon by the regional health authorities and the University. Tickets will only become available the Monday prior to events taking place (ex. Monday, Feb. 14 for a Saturday, Feb. 26 event).
Tickets can be purchased at tickets.geegees.ca.
Additionally, spectators must adhere to the following public health guidelines to reduce the risk of COVID-19 outbreaks.
- Mandatory masks: Masks are mandatory while inside uOttawa sports facilities, for all individuals (except children under the age of two). This includes open air venues. The mask must cover the nose and mouth.
- Mandatory vaccination: All persons accessing the uOttawa campus or TD Place must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Effective September 22, 2021, the Province of Ontario has implemented a proof of vaccination system. This means that all individuals aged 12 and older must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, in order to access indoor and outdoor sports facilities, including Montpetit Hall, TD Place, Minto Sports Complex and Gee-Gees Field/Dome. Participants and spectators will be required to provide for verification at point of entry, their proof of vaccination* and proof of identification containing their name and date of birth (e.g. Driver's License, Health Card, Passport).
With these measures in mind, fans are encouraged to arrive at least 30 minutes before the start of the event to avoid any line-ups or delays. Gates open one hour prior to the scheduled start.
