OTTAWA GAME NOTES
- Major stat leaders
- Tries: Ketsia Kamba – 3
- Points: Claire Gallagher – 30
- Ottawa continued their solid start to the season Saturday afternoon in their home opener, blanking the Montréal Carabins 34-0. Ngozi Mosindi earned two tries for the Garnet and Grey.
- Claire Gallagher has been named the match MVP in both of Ottawa's games in 2022. The fourth-year captain is tied for third in conference scoring.
- Ottawa has taken advantage of the RSEQ's new bonus point system. Teams earn an offensive bonus point for scoring four-or-more tries, and/or a defensive bonus point for losing by seven points or less in addition to the four points a team earns from a victory. The Gee-Gees have earned the offensive bonus point in both their games this year, and thus sit on 10 total points in the standings.

- McGill's last win in RSEQ competition came on Sept. 1, 2019 against Bishop's. The program has traditionally been strong, winning a total of 10 conference titles, including seven straight between 1999 and 2005.
- The Martlets have been shutout in both their meetings this season.
- McGill and Ottawa haven't squared off since 2018 due to the RSEQ being split into two divisions in 2019 and 2021. The Martlets haven't scored a point against Ottawa since a 72-5 loss on Sept. 18, 2016.
The Gee-Gees next home game is Saturday, Sept. 24 against Bishop's. Kickoff is 1:00 p.m. and tickets are on sale at tickets.geegees.ca. Saturday's matchup at McGill will be streamed on McGill's Yare TV channel.
