OTTAWA GAME NOTES
- Major stat leaders
- Tries: Mercedes Cole – 8
- Converts: Claire Gallagher – 22
- The Gee-Gees continued their perfect start to the regular season with their most complete performance yet, topping the Carleton Ravens 54-3.
- Claire Gallagher continues to lead the team in scoring (54 points from two tries and 22 converts), but the team's depth has been on display. Twenty-four Gee-Gees have registered points this season, with 12 having scored two tries or more through five games.
- The winner of this matchup will clinch first place in the RSEQ and most likely third spot in the U SPORTS National Rankings. The winner will also earn the right to host the RSEQ Championship game, should said team advance to the final.
LAVAL GAME NOTES
- Major stat leaders
- Tries: Marie-Pier Fauteux – 12
- Converts: Adèle Samson – 12
- Laval dropped Bishop's 61-0 at Coulter Field last week. The lone time they haven't won by 40 points or more was in a 36-0 decision against Carleton.
- Marie-Pier Fauteux's 76 total points and 12 tries leads the conference. Carleton's Maya Addai is second in both categories at 61 points and 11 tries.
- The Rouge & Or have yet to concede a single point this season, shutting out all five of their opponents. The 1998 McGill Martlets went an entire five-game regular season without conceding. Remarkably, McGill then lost that year's conference championship game to Concordia 12-8.
The pivotal game will be streamed on the Rouge & Or Facebook page.
