Gym Class Takeover
Every year, the University of Ottawa Gee-Gees visit schools in the Ottawa-Gatineau region in May and June and offer sport clinics for students during their physical education class.
Our visits see uOttawa’s varsity athletes bring their passion for sport into schools and translate it into teaching children the benefits that sport can have on their physical and personal development. We work in collaboration with your school’s physical education teacher to organize the clinic. To help promote the upcoming U SPORTS National Women’s Soccer Championship, we are offering to send members of our women’s varsity soccer team to your school to run a soccer clinic. We would also use this opportunity to promote our summer sports camps.
The soccer clinics are free of charge as it provides us with an opportunity to promote both our summer sports camps and the national championship.
Space is limited and offered on a first come, first served basis. Please contact our team at 613-562-5800 ext. 2413 or email ggcommunity@uOttawa.ca.
Guest Coaching / Soccer Festivals
Members of our women’s varsity soccer team are available to visit your soccer club as guest coaches. We can also attend your local tournaments or soccer festivals and set up an interactive booth to test your participants’ soccer skills.
These guest coaching experiences and interactive booths are free of charge as it provides us with an opportunity to promote both our summer sports camps and the national championship.
