Bio

Louise Dubé-Tousignant was an outstanding guard on the Gee-Gees from 1983-88. Her five-year career included OUA East All-Star Team selections in 1986-87 and 1987-88, and an OUA East Second Team in All-Star nod in OUA East in 1984-85.

Originally from Smooth Rock Falls, Ont., she led the Gee-Gees in scoring with 16.9 points per game in 1984-85 and also led the team with 19 assists that season. She also was the team scoring leader in 1985-86 (16.1 ppg) and 1987-88 (12.3 ppg).

At the conclusion of her career she held the Gee-Gees team record for points in a career with 937 over 60 games played, giving her a career average of 15.6 points per game. In 1988 she ranked fourth in OWIAA history in career scoring. She remains in fourth place in Gee-Gees history for total points scored and third all-time for points scored per game (as of 2022).

After her playing career she joined the Gee-Gees coaching staff as an assistant for two seasons, 1988-89 and 1989-90.
