SEASON NOT PLAYED (2020-21)

Season cancelled due to COVID-19 pandemic. Did not impact eligibility. Founding member and Co-President of the Black Student-Athletes Advocacy Council (BSAAC), aiming to foster an inclusive and equitable environment for all BIPOC groups and identities within Varsity Athletics. Earned U SPORTS Academic All-Canadian honours.

THIRD YEAR (2019-20)

In an expanded role in his third year, Minger appeared in 22 regular season games, starting 21… Averaged 4.9 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.1 steals in 23.5 minutes per game… Scored a career-high 11 points in win at Guelph (Nov. 15)… Logged a career-high 10 rebounds in win at Algoma (Nov. 17)… Was one of the top on-ball defenders in the OUA, routinely guarding the opposition’s top offensive threat.

SECOND YEAR (2018-19)

Saw action in 20 games, increasing minutes per game average to 5.3 per contest… Averaged 1.3 points per game on the season… Scored a season-high of seven points on 3-4 shooting at Waterloo (Nov. 2)… Logged a season-high 13 minutes vs. Nipissing (Feb. 16).

FIRST YEAR (2017-18)

Played 8 regular season games averaging 1.1 points in 4.0 minutes played per game… Scored first career points on a three-pointer at Lakehead (Nov. 25)… Saw a season-high of 10 minutes of action at York (Jan. 12). 

BEFORE THE GEE-GEES:

From Cayenne, French Guiana, Minger moved to Canada at 16 years old to play prep basketball in Quebec. Played for the Thetford Academy based at Cégep de Thetford in Thetford Mines, Quebec.
