THIRD YEAR (2021-22):

Earned OUA East First Team All-Star honours in third year of eligibility with Ottawa… Appeared in and started all 23 overall games… Posted regular season averages of 15.8 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game, shooting 40.2 per cent from the field and 75 per cent from the free throw line… Led the team in scoring for the second time in his career, setting a new career-high in points per game… Finished ranked fourth in the OUA in free throws made (84), as well as sixth in total steals (29 / 1.8 per game)… Posted a season-high 24 points in a win vs. Queen’s (Feb. 12)… Finished the regular season with four separate 20-plus point scoring performances… Was named the team’s Most Valuable Player following the season… Selected for the second time in the CEBL Draft by the Ottawa BlackJacks with the 16th overall pick.

SEASON NOT PLAYED (2020-21):

Pépin was selected with the 11th overall pick in the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) U SPORTS Draft by the Ottawa BlackJacks… Attended training camp and dressed and played in one playoff game scoring 8 points and pulling down 5 rebounds… Did not impact eligibility. 

SECOND YEAR (2019-20):

Appeared and started in 13 regular season games, averaging 14.7 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game… Missed a stretch of nine games throughout the month of November with a knee injury… Scored a season-high 23 points in win at Toronto (Jan. 25)… Posted a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds at Windsor (Jan. 31)… Posted 23 points, 15 rebounds against Dalhousie in the national quarterfinal at the Final 8 (Mar. 6).

FIRST YEAR (2018-19):

Appeared and started in all 23 regular season games in his freshman season… Averaged 15.4 points and 7.5 rebounds on 42.7% shooting from the field… Posted first career double-double in win over Waterloo (Nov. 2) with 19 points and 11 rebounds… Logged four double-double performances on the season… Posted career-high 26 points in win at Algoma (Dec. 2) shooting 9-14 from the field… Ranked 10th in the nation in made free throws and 15th in defensive rebounding… Was recognized as OUA Rookie of the Year and uOttawa Rookie of the Year.

BEFORE THE GEE-GEES:

Played three seasons of CÉGEP basketball for Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf in Montreal… In 2017-18, had an outstanding season averaging 14.5 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game… Was named a Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) All-Canadian and RSEQ First Team All-Star… In 2016-17, was named an RSEQ Second Team All-Star after averaging 13.6 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game… Playing a smaller role in his first RSEQ Division 1 season, Pépin posted averages of 6.1 points and 4.9 rebounds per game in nine games played… Played alongside teammate Charles-Antoine Gaba at Brébeuf… Played AAU basketball for Montreal’s Brookwood Elite.
