OTTAWA GAME NOTES
- Major stat leaders
- Goals: Mathieu Desgagnés – 10
- Assists: Anthony Poulin – 14
- Points: Mathieu Desgagnés – 18
- Wins: Christian Sbaraglia – 4
- It was a rocky end to the first half for Ottawa, falling 4-3 to McGill in overtime despite a furious, last minute comeback and 8-2 to Concordia.
- At the de facto midway point of the season, the Gee-Gees offence has been by committee. That said, Mathieu Desgagnés and Anthony Poulin have both been enjoying productive years.
- Rookie Tommy Bouchard ended 2022 off right, garnering four points in his last five games before the holiday break.
CARLETON GAME NOTES
- Major stat leaders
- Goals: Parker Aucoin – 17
- Assists: Nick McCarry – 16
- Points: Parker Aucoin – 22
- Wins: Mark Grametbauer – 6
- The first Ottawa-Carleton men's hockey matchup of the season was a thriller. The Gee-Gees opened a 3-0 lead, only to have Carleton tie the game in the third period. Tommy Bouchard ultimately got the winner with under five minutes to go.
- Parker Aucoin continues to lead the country in goals. The Ravens have yet to win a game in which Aucoin doesn't score (0-3-3).
- Gee-Gees teams are 9-1 against Ravens teams in all competitions this season. The final regular season men's hockey matchup between the schools is the Colonel By Classic on Sunday, Jan. 22. Tickets are on sale HERE.

CONCORDIA GAME NOTES
- Major stat leaders
- Goals: Isiah Campbell and Alex Katerinakis – 7
- Assists: Isiah Campbell – 9
- Points: Isiah Campbell – 16
- Wins: Jonathan Lemieux – 9
- Concordia's six unanswered goals in the third period propelled them to a commanding win over Ottawa to close the 2022 calendar year.
- Goaltender Jonathan Lemieux is fifth nationally with a .931 save percentage. The first year netminder is .002 behind UQTR's Alexis Gravel for fourth in the country.
- The Stingers will likely be jockeying for playoff positioning in the OUA East down the stretch. McGill, Ontario Tech, and Concordia are all within a point of each other for second, while UQTR is three points clear of those chasing them for top spot. Ottawa and Carleton lurk three points back of the Stingers in fifth and sixth place, respectively.
Tickets for Sunday's matchup are on sale at tickets.geegees.ca. Both games will be streamed live on OUA.tv.
