Less than 48 hours removed from a centre-stage battle with Carleton at the Capital Hoops Classic, the Gee-Gees women's basketball team took to the road for a Sunday matchup with #4 Queen's.

The first quarter was an even affair, with the Gaels nudging out a 17-15 lead at the end of the first frame. In the second, the hosts blew the game open, outscoring Ottawa 22-7 before the half.
Facing a 17-point deficit, Ottawa rallied from down as many as 22 to outscore Queen's in the second half. The Gee-Gees outscored the Gaels 15-4 in the final frame, however the charge fell short, and the Gaels secured a seven-point 59-52 win.
With their third loss in as many games, Ottawa's record moves to 15-4 on the season, as they settle into third place in the OUA East standings behind their rival Ravens and Gaels.
