- The Gee-Gees finished in first place in the OUA, meaning they will have home field advantage throughout the conference postseason. The lone time they dropped points was in a 1-1 draw at Carleton on Thanksgiving Monday.
- Emma Lefebvre led the conference in goal scoring during the regular season. It's the second straight campaign in which a Gee-Gee has led the OUA in goals – Mikayla Morton had 17 in 2019.
- Ottawa's 9-0-1 record represents the eighth undefeated regular season in program history.
- This is the second straight year the the Gee-Gees and Rams are squaring off in the OUA quarterfinal. In fact, the teams played three times in 2019. Ottawa won all three with a combined score of 11-0.

- The Rams are entering the playoffs on a high, having earned results in each of their last six matches (4-0-2).
- It was a dramatic final day for the Rams, who earned a playoff spot with a 79th minute winner against McMaster. McMaster and the Rams finished level on points, with the latter earning the tiebreaker via their victory.
- The blue and gold are the only OUA team to qualify for the playoffs with a negative goal differential (nine for, 10 against).
- Remarkably, according to the OUA website, the Rams have been caught offside just once this season.
