OTTAWA GAME NOTES

- Kills: Tristan Peterson – 2.97 per set

- Ottawa fell to the Laval Rouge et Or last Saturday in their penultimate match of the fall semester. The Gee-Gees kept things close in the third frame, but ultimately lost in straight sets.
- Tristan Peterson continued her strong play last weekend. After missing the 2019-20 season with an injury, Peterson is leading the Gee-Gees in kills per set, and is eighth in the country in total attacks.
- The Gee-Gees did not commit a single service error in their match against Laval. They have recorded more service aces than service errors in two of their last three games.
- This is the only matchup on deck in the RSEQ this weekend. Ottawa opens their winter semester at home against Laval on Sunday, Jan. 16.
UQAM GAME NOTES

- Kills: Sabrina Mayer – 3.19 per set
- Digs: Ariane Pelosse-Brunelle – 3.18 per set
- Assists: Mathilde Bruggeman Gascon – 7.41 per set
- UQAM are riding high into their final game of the fall semester, having won five straight games. They haven't been pushed to a fifth set during their winning streak.
- Ottawa hung right with the Citadins in their first meeting this season, playing a tight match in early November.
- The Citadins are second in the country in total blocks. Gabrielle Archambault and Marina Ajavon lead the team with 27 and 22 blocks, respectively.
