Bio
Described as an effortless skater and superb puck handler, Claude Alain established a Gee-Gees scoring record during his playing career which began in 1963.
A left-winger, Alain led the OSLAA league in scoring in 1964-65 with 25 goals and 19 assists for 44 points as the Gee-Gees went 12-1-1 to claim the league title. His linemates that season were Pete Gagne and Bernie Morrisette, with the line totalling more than 100 points in 13 games played - the team's only loss of the season was a default. The trio combined for 47 goals.
He was named an OSLAA All-Star for the 1964-65 and 1965-66 seasons, and led the team in scoring in the 1966-67 campaign.
Alain returned to the Gee-Gees in the 1969-70 season, helping the squad to another first place finish in the regular season standings, this time in the QUAA.
