A matchup with the nationally ranked Gee-Gees will be a chance to test their improvement in the first half of the season.
- The Golden Hawks kicking game has been a considerable factor to start the season. K/P Dawson Hodge is perfect on field goals and extra points thus far this season, as well as currently holds the best yards per punt average in the OUA with 43.8.
- Laurier has also enjoyed a very clean start to the season, currently sitting as the second-least penalized team in the conference.
WHAT THEY'RE SAYING:
"After a pretty big win last week I feel like the team is really coming together. We have to keep our standards high, forget about last week, and look ahead to Laurier. We're trying to stay mentally disciplined and focused on our opponent, at the end of the day, we need to go 1-0 this week." – Willy-Pierre Dimbongi, receiver.
