- The Gee-Gees powerplay was much improved in February. On 26 opportunities, the Garnet and Grey scored five times. The powerplay has been a weak point this season, currently sitting at 12.9 per cent – 18th in the OUA.
- In three of his last four starts, Anand Oberoi has posted a save percentage of over .930 and hasn't allowed more than two goals in his previous five starts.
- The Garnet and Grey hold the advantage in the season series over McGill. In four previous meetings, the Gee-Gees have a 3-1 record, outscoring the Redbirds 13-9. McGill won the most recent meeting between the two teams, 3-1. McGill's leading goal scorer, Eric Uba scored twice.

- The Patriotes and Gee-Gees have split the season series an even 2-2. After the Pats beat the Gee-Gees in their first two meetings of the season, the Garnet and Grey have emerged victorious in the previous two meetings.
- UQTR's powerplay on the road is 9 percentage points less than their powerplay at home. On the road, the Patriotes only connect on 16.7 percent of their man advantage opportunities.
- Julien Tessier has a point in all but one game in 2022. In six games he's notched seven assists, but has not found the back of the net since Nov. 27 against the Carleton Ravens.
