- OUA All-Star Brooklynn McAlear-Fanus is having an incredible fourth year for the Gee-Gees. Averaging 11.5 points, a nation-leading 5.7 assists, and 5.2 rebounds per game, McAlear-Fanus is now chasing All-Canadian honours.
- Ottawa is ranked top three in the nation in eight different statistical categories including first in field goal percentage (45.2), and second in points per game (80.2) and three-point percentage (35.7).

- Though struggling this season, Toronto has shown some real bright spots in their game. The Varsity Blues rank sixth in the OUA in offensive rebounds per game (14.5).
- The Gee-Gees will need to be mindful of Toronto's ability to get to the free throw line. As a team they shoot 20 free throws per game, hitting on 72 per cent of them.
- Fourth-year guard Keyira Parkes is an all-around threat for the Varsity Blues and will be a marquee matchup with McAlear-Fanus.

- Only allowing 51.8 points per game, the Rams hold the second best mark in the nation at stifling teams on the defensive end.
- The Gee-Gees will look to spread the floor on offence, while conversely shutting down Ryerson's paint attack on defence.
