FEBRUARY 12 vs. MONTREAL
The Gee-Gees hosted Montreal in a rescheduled contest on Wednesday afternoon.
Montreal opened the scoring midway through the opening period, when a point shot deflected through a number of bodies and found the back of the net.
Mikaila Kraczynski tallied her first of the season with a cannon from the blueline to tie the contest midway through the second period.
Montreal restored their lead just 36 seconds into the third period.
Undeterred, the Gee-Gees pressured aggressively on the forecheck in search of another tying goal. Marimée Godbout-Parent was rewarded with her persistence, burying a rebound to respond minutes later.
Unable to find a result in regulation, the game continued into overtime.
The game was settled quickly, with Montreal finding the back of the net 95 seconds into the extra frame.
The Gee-Gees outshot the Carabins 25-19. Ottawa was 0-5 on the power play, while Montreal was 0-3.
FEBRUARY 16 at CARLETON
The offence was buzzing in the opening period for the Gee-Gees.
Godbout-Parent opened the scoring just 47 seconds into the game, while Alexe Clavelle and Jade Todd added goals for a three-goal lead after 20 minutes.
Carleton found the back of the next two minutes into the second period, but Meagan McGaughey answered with her sixth goal of the season later in the frame.
The Ravens scored early in the third period, then added another goal with four minutes remaining in regulation to pull within one goal.
The Gee-Gees focused on their defensive play to limit any further chances for the Ravens, then Meagan McGaughey added an empty net goal to finish off Carleton.
Aurélie Dubuc earned the win in goal, stopping 22 of 25 shots.

- Seven of the top 10 rookie scorers in the RSEQ were Gee-Gees. Alice Fillion was second-best among all rookies with eight goals and four assists, while playing in all 20 games.
- Mélodie Bouchard completes her Gee-Gees career as the all-time leading scorer in the regular season. Over five years, she played in 93 games, scoring 37 games and adding 65 assists.

The playoffs gets underway at McConnell Arena against the McGill Martlets on Thursday, February 20 at 7:00 p.m. The series shifts to Ottawa for game two on Saturday, February 22 at 2:00 p.m. and will return to Montreal the next day should a third game be needed.
