- Ottawa and Laval played a tight match last week, with Laval winning 8-7. It was the first time the Gee-Gees held the Rouge & Or to single digits since 2017.
- Meredith Sirrs scored her first try of the season Saturday, becoming the ninth different Gee-Gee to do so in 2021. Ten different players found paydirt in 2019.
- Saturday will be Ottawa's first match away from Matt Anthony Field since the 2019 RSEQ Championship Game (also played at Stade TELUS-UL). The University of Ottawa hosted the 2019 U SPORTS Women's Rugby Championship.
- Claire Gallagher's 17 points (one try, six converts) is tied for the most in the conference with Kaitie Shea of Bishop's and Kaitlyn Cox of Carleton.
