- Ottawa dropped consecutive matches to the top-ranked Laval Rouge & Or over the last two weeks. However, both matches were decided by one try or less.
- Anna Dodge scored her first try of the season Saturday. She became the tenth different Gee-Gee to score in 2021, equalling the number of players who did in all of 2019.
- The last time Ottawa and Concordia met was in 2018, as the Stingers were in RSEQ Section B in 2019.
- Five players who accounted for points in that 2018 meeting are still with the Gee-Gees; Tylo Borsboom, Dodge, Taylor Donato, Claire Gallagher and Maya Montiel.

- Concordia sit in second place thanks to a pair of blowout victories against Sherbrooke. The Stingers outscored the Vert & Or 73-22 over their two matches.
- Mahalia Robinson leads RSEQ Section A with 21 points (a try, five converts, two penalties). Emily Magee was selected as game MVP twice already this season.
- The Stingers season got off to a rocky start with a 58-3 loss at Laval. A Robinson penalty was all the scoring Concordia could muster.
