Bio

Marie Claire joined the Gee-Gees in April, 2024 with over seven years of experience including spending the 2023 CFL season as the Head Athletic Therapist of the Ottawa REDBLACKS.  Marie Claire also served as the Lead Assistant Athletic Therapist with the REDBLACKS from 2020-22, returning to where she served as Assistant AT in 2016. From 2017-19, Marie Claire worked at Carleton’s Sports Medicine Clinic, where she also served as Lead Assistant AT for the Ravens football team.

Marie Claire also has done contract work with PWHL Ottawa, the Ottawa 67s, Skate Canada, Athletics Canada, Barrhaven Scottish RFC, and Ottawa Beavers and Banshees RFC, among others.

A graduate of a Bachelor of Health Science degree in Athletic Therapy from Sheridan College in 2016, Marie Claire earned her first bachelor’s degree from Aberystwyth University in Wales.
