Bio

Originally from Sorel, Quebec, Mondou began her playing career at Collège Montmorency, where she competed for three seasons before moving on to McGill University. She played four seasons with the McGill Martlets (2016–2020), winning two RSEQ titles and the 2017 U SPORTS National Championship, and earning recognition as a two-time Academic All-Canadian.

After completing her playing career, Mondou spent two years teaching in Montreal before moving to Ottawa, where she worked as a teacher at Louis-Riel High School. While at Louis-Riel, she also served as assistant coach for the Rebelles Senior and Junior teams competing in the Ontario Scholastic Basketball Association (OSBA) and the High Performance Development League (HPDL).

Mondou also served as a coach for U14–U17 girls’ teams with Southwest Advantage (Ottawa) in the AAU league, coaching multiple teams per summer and participating in high-exposure U.S. tournaments.

Stephanie holds a DEC in Physiotherapy Technology from Collège Montmorency and a Bachelor of Education from McGill University.
