Sean Hall returned to the Gee-Gees coaching staff for the 2021 season. Hall had previously worked as the defensive backs coach at Carleton and Acadia, winning two Loney Bowls with the Axemen in 2011 and 2012.

As a player, Hall was an all-star at defensive back for the Gee-Gees in the mid-to-late 1990s. Hall was a two-time Gee-Gees Outstanding Defensive Player Award recipiant and helped lead uOttawa to two Dunsmore Cups in 1995 and '96. Transitioning to a role on the coaching staff, Hall spent a decade on the sidelines with the Gee-Gees between 2001 to 2011 including time as defensive coordinator, winning the Yates Cup in 2006.
