Bio

Darren Joseph, a Gee-Gees football alumnus, had a 13-year professional career in the CFL, recording 2,412 yards in his career on 526 attempts, scoring 15 rushing touchdowns. He also caught 103 passes for 1,175 yards and 4 receiving touchdowns.

In 1991 he led the Gee-Gees in rushes (118) and rushing yards (812).  He rushed for three touchdowns and led the OQIFC in rushing yards. He also picked up six receptions for 65 yards. 

His CFL career began in Ottawa in 1992 and he would spend a total of five seasons playing for both the Rough Riders (1992-1994) and Renegades (2002-2003). He also played with Saskatchewan, Toronto, Montreal, and BC and was a valuable special teams player, recording 143 career tackles and 14 kick returns. 

Originally from Ottawa, Joseph also played for the Ottawa Sooners.

His 812 yards in a single season ranks second in Gee-Gees history, and his 13 years in the CFL is third most among Gee-Gees alumni.
