Nathan Walker, a Gee-Gees football alumnus, joined the Ottawa coaching staff in 2024.

Walker closed his U SPORTS career at Ottawa after an illustrious career at Bishop's. With the Gaiters, Walker was a 2x AUS All-Star (2018, 2019), racking up 1,594 receiving yards and six touchdowns while in Lennoxville.

Walker joined the Gee-Gees in the COVID cancelled 2020 season, and played the 2021 season while completing his Master of Human Kinetics degree in Sports Management at uOttawa. In eight games with Gee-Gees in 2021, Walker had 32 receptions for 343 yards and a touchdown. Walker also tallied 326 yards on kick and punt returns. While at Ottawa, Walker was a founding member of the Black Student-Athletes Advocacy Council (BSAAC) serving as Engagement and Events Officer.

Walker served as Special Teams Coordinator & Receivers Coach for the Durham Dolphins U16 team before returning to the Gee-Gees.

Walker, a native of Brampton, currently works as Manager, Social Media & Communications for the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL).
