  • Last season marked the first time in program history that the Gee-Gees defeated the Redbirds. This season, both teams head into the matchup undefeated.
  • The Gee-Gees are coming off a bye week while the Redbirds locked up their fourth win of the season with a 38-24 victory over the Bishop's Gaiters.
  • Ottawa has never been 3-0 to start the regular since joining the RSEQ, and the squad will look to continue their historic season in anticipation of hosting the Canadian University Men's Rugby National Championship tournament in November.

  • McGill has had a dominant start to the season, earning convincing wins over the bottom half of the RSEQ. Set to face Ottawa and ETS next, McGill is sure to be challenged for the top spot in the conference.
  • The Gee-Gees were a challenge for the Redbirds in 2023. The Gee-Gees didn't allow the Redbirds into the endzone.
  • Martin Laval was the only player on the McGill squad to log points against Ottawa in 2023, scoring three penalty kicks.
