On Thursday, Ottawa logged a 2-0 win at against McGill at McConnell Arena, with first-year goalie Lauren MacKay posting a 17-save shutout.
The Gee-Gees were bolstered by goals from Arianne Gagnon and Maëlle Laplante, with Laplante's coming on an empty net as the Martlets were vying for an equalizer late in regulation.
On Sunday, the Bishop's Gaiters snapped Ottawa's two-game streak of not conceding a goal, picking up a 4-1 road win at the Minto Sports Complex.
The Gaiters found the scoreboard first with a power play goal eight minutes into the game. Keara Merriman responded with Ottawa's own power play tally early in the second frame.
The Gaiters' special teams came through once again to give them the lead with another power play goal. They would then pull away with another goal before adding an empty netter late in the game to seal the win.
The Gee-Gees will take to the road next for their first meeting of the season with the Concordia Stingers. They will have a quick turnaround to face off with Carleton the following night at home.
