OTTAWA GAME NOTES 

  • Major stat leaders
  • Mireille Kingsley logged her first shutout in the Garnet and Grey as they Gee-Gees hosted York on Saturday night. The 3-0 win marked the third win for Kingsley this season.
  • Arianne Gagnon leads the conference with 15 points and 8 goals, she also ranks second with 7 assists.
  • The Gee-Gees are currently 1-1 in away games and will be on the road for the next two weekends (4 games) before returning home for a Nov. 23 game against Windsor.

LAURIER GAME NOTES

  • Major stat leaders
    • Goals: Elle Spencer – 3
    • Assists: Claire Robinson – 4
    • Points: Claire Robinson – 5
    • Wins: Kayla Renaud – 4
  • Kayla Renaud has accounted for four of the five Golden Hawks wins this year. She leads the OUA with a 0.87 goals against average. Renaud has logged two shutouts so far this season (vs. Queens and vs. Guelph)
  • Laurier is on a two-game win streak, defeating Guelph and TMU. Both teams were unable to score against the Golden Hawks.
  • In their last two games, the Golden Hawks scored all three of their goals on the powerplay.

    • Assists: Leah Herrfort – 8
    • Points: Leah Herrfort – 10
    • Wins: Kara Mark – 5
  • Leah Herrfort leads the OUA in assists and trails Arianne Gagnon with 10 points so far this season.
  • Kara Mark has appeared in six games for the Warriors, totalling 177 saves on the season, third in the OUA.
  • Waterloo ranks second in the OUA with 3.86 goals per game. A nationally ranked team, they will be looking to challenge the Gee-Gees defence.
