OTTAWA GAME NOTES 

  • Major stat leaders
  • Alyssa Biesenthal had a great weekend, scoring the overtime game winner against Queen's for her 13th goal of the season.
  • The Gee-Gees continue to extend their winning streak, winning their last five games.
  • Ottawa has a winning 7-4 record on home ice, and will be happy to finish their season at Minto Sports Complex, especially against nationally ranked competition.

WATERLOO GAME NOTES

  • Major stat leaders
    • Goals: Nikki McDonald and Carly Orth – 10    
    • Assists: Leah Herrfort and Carly Orth – 17
    • Points: Carly Orth – 27
    • Wins: Kara Mark – 16
  • Carly Orth and Leah Herrfort are amongst the top five in points in the OUA. Arianne Gagnon and Alyssa Biesenthal join the Waterloo Leaders on that list.
  • Kara Mark will be tested by the Gee-Gees offence. Mark stands out as a goaltending leader in the OUA, she's made 671 saves, and ranks third in the OUA with a .942 save percentage.

    • Wins: Zoe McGee – 7
  • The Ridgebacks were able to snap their six-game losing streak with a win over TMU. The following evening, they fell 3-0 to the Gee-Gees.
  • Ontario Tech has the opportunity to get revenge against Ottawa, but only after visiting the Carleton Ravens for the first time this season.
