GAME NOTES: 

  • In Ottawa's last visit to Love Competition Hall at McGill, the Gee-Gees stunned the then #4 ranked Martlets in decisive fashion. With another ranked win under their belts last weekend at Montreal, Ottawa is no stranger to playing spoiler on opposing team's home courts.

  • UQAM is the team the Gee-Gees have not seen in the longest time this season, having last played the Citadins on November 6, in the fourth game of the season. At 7-4, UQAM is the second placed team in the conference, the Gee-Gees have fared well against teams at the top of the standing, they will hope that home court advantage will play in their favour.

  • Ottawa's senior talent Avery Hughes and Grace McKale have been essential this season pairing with a young lineup. Both led the way in Ottawa's two wins over ranked competition and a strong weekend for the pair could have the Gee-Gees trending towards playoff positioning come Sunday.
