Bio

Rodrigue had a successful football career with the University of Ottawa in the early 1970’s and is among the best players of the program’s history. Rodrigue, who led his team as a captain from 1971 to 1973, was a three-time OUAA All-Star and CIS All-Canadian and one of the very rare players to be awarded each and every season of his career.

Despite his undeniable talent and success, Jeannot’s selfless and humble attitude has made him a true role model for his peers. He is one of the pillars of the University of Ottawa Gee-Gees football program and was into the GGs Hall of Fame in 1997.  Mr. Rodrigue has also been a highly respected teacher and coach at Col. By High School, where he spent most of his career before retiring in 2003.
