Bio

Pierre Benoit (born in 1939) played 5 years with the Gee-Gees along with his brothers, Paul and Brien. He studied law at the University of Ottawa and graduated in 1962. He was a lawyer by career but subsequently pursued a variety of interests.

Pierre Benoit became the Mayor of the City of Ottawa from 1972 to 1974 and couple years later he became the Governor for the University of Ottawa. He also worked for the Ottawa Journal, a French-language radio host, and was a political commentator on television in the capital.

Pierre Benoit is a seasoned business professional with a record of more than 30 years of success in identifying and capitalizing on opportunities as a financial advisor and business consultant as well as a real estate consultant/advisor, real estate developer and attorney. Throughout his career he has demonstrated an ability to assemble and lead teams of highly skilled personnel and to maintain their focus in large scale and complex business environments.
