uOttawa Gee-Gees Athletes of the Week — Oct. 7, 2019
Tramayne Stephen
Third-year
Defensive tackle
Toronto, Ont.
Tramayne Stephen made his presence felt in the 2019 Panda Game. Down 10-3 in the third quarter, Stephen bull-rushed through the Ravens' offensive line and jumped on a loose ball for his team's first touchdown of the day. The play turned the tides in the game and led to the Gee-Gees securing Pedro for a second consecutive year. The 6-1, 300 lb. Toronto native, logged six solo tackles and a tackle for loss in the win. Stephen sits seventh in the OUA with 7 tackles for loss on the year, along with 21.5 tackles, three sacks, and a shared OUA lead in fumble recoveries with two.
Margot Shore
Fifth-year
Goalkeeper
Ottawa, Ont.
Fifth-year goalkeeper Margot Shore recorded her fourth clean sheet of the season on Sunday in a key rivalry win against Carleton. In the final moments of the contest, Carleton pressured up the field in hopes of forcing a draw, but Shore made a spectacular to clinch a Garnet and Grey victory.
