Epistola got the Gee-Gees regular season off on the right foot with a career-high performance on Friday night. The Linguistics major poured in 31 points including 7-of-11 shooting from three-point range in 35 minutes, leading the Garnet and Grey to a 80-72 win over no. 6 ranked Laurier. He followed up with 21 points the next night and currently ranks third in OUA with 26.0 points per game for the nationally no. 3 ranked Gee-Gees.

Madison Grant was named the Player of the Match for uOttawa's bronze medal match as well as the national semifinal as the RSEQ Rookie of the Year stepped up on the big stage. Grant was dynamic both offensively and defensively, and was also named to the Tournament All-Star team. Following the tournament, Grant was named to Canada's Senior Women 15s team for the Can-Am Tour coming up November 20th and 24th. Grant joins Gee-Gees alumni Irene Patrinos and Brianna Miller on the Canadian roster.
