- The Gee-Gees fell to the undefeated Queen's Gaels last week by a 30-12 score. Three consecutive third quarter turnovers resulted in 17 unanswered points for the Gaels.
- J-P Cimankinda earned his second 100-yard rushing game in three weeks against Queen's. He also scored his first rushing touchdown of the season.
- This represents the first time uOttawa and Carleton are playing multiple games in the same regular season since the Ravens re-established their program in 2013.

- Carleton are coming off a well-deserved bye week. They dropped their Week 5 matchup to Queen's by a 45-0 score.
- The Ravens haven't been the same since starting quarterback Tanner DeJong went down with a season-ending injury in Week 2. They have managed just 306 passing yards in their three subsequent games.
- The winner of the Carleton-Ottawa matchup most likely finishes third in the conference, and face the University of Toronto in the first round of the playoffs. The loser of the game travels to Richardson Stadium to face Queen's.
