Ottawa opened their season with a win on the road against Windsor. A late 38-yard field goal from Campbell Fair sealed a 19-16 victory. Fair drilled four field goals, all from over 30 yards out, and was selected as the Canadian Football Perspective's OUA Special Teams Player of the Week.
