Player Development Intern
Key tasks: This position is designed to assist the coaching staff in a practice and individual workout setting. They will monitor the progress of players over the course of the season and report finding back to the coaches. They will also play a key role in gathering all physical testing results in collaboration with the Strength and Conditioning coach.
Qualifications: Must be a current student at the University of Ottawa with a passion for the sport of basketball. Must be able to work in a collaborative environment as well as independently. Students studying Human Kinetics, Health Sciences, or similar are strongly encouraged to apply.

Video Coordinator
Key tasks: This position will help coordinate game day filming and video breakdown for team use. They will film, edit, and tag clips and deliver them to the coaching staff to assist in game and player development. They will also provide general assistance to the coaching staff throughout the season.
Qualifications: Familiarity with Synergy Sports and GameStrat is considered an asset. Prior experience filming and editing sports clips is preferred. Must be a current student at the University of Ottawa with a passion for the sport of basketball. Must be able to work in a collaborative environment as well as independently.

Basketball Analytics Assistant
Key tasks: This position will work with the Assistant Coach (Analytics and Scouting) directly throughout their weekly operations. They will help oversee the team’s use of analytics for player development, team strategy, and scouting. They will attend practices and select games to assist with inputting of stats and continually assist with ongoing basketball operations throughout the season.
Qualifications: Familiarity with Synergy Sports and GameStrat is considered an asset. A general understanding of basketball statistics and modern trends in analytics is preferred. Prior work in developing projection models is also considered an asset. Must be a current student at the University of Ottawa with a passion for the sport of basketball. Must be able to work in a collaborative environment as well as independently. Students studying Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or similar are strongly encouraged to apply.

Basketball Operations Assistant
Key tasks: This position will assist the team in various facets of their daily operations throughout the season. They provide key assistance in the organization of the team and work directly with the coaching staff to address coach and player needs.
Qualifications: Must be passionate about basketball and be dedicated to working within a team environment. A successful candidate will be an outgoing and motivated individual that will interact with various members of the team’s staff and athletes. No prior experience is required.

Videography Intern
Key tasks: This position will work with the Digital Media Coordinator directly throughout the season to develop content for the team’s social media platforms. They will attend select practices and games to assist with the creation of high quality video and photo content.
Qualifications: Prior videography experience is a requirement. Basketball or sports videography experience is an asset. Sports photography experience is also considered an asset. Must own your own camera and editing software. Must be available for work in off-peak hours on evenings and weekends. Must be a current student at the University of Ottawa with a passion for the sport of basketball. Students studying Communications, Visual Arts, or similar are strongly encouraged to apply.
