Justin Ndjock-Tadjore (Gee-Gees 2023-present)
Stajic made his CEBL debut with the Ottawa Blackjacks on May 26, 2024 against Brampton in the team's season opener. He was drafted in the second round of the 2024 CEBL Draft by the Blackjacks.
Dragan Stajic (Gee-Gees 2019-present)
Stajic made his CEBL debut with the Ottawa Blackjacks on June 23, 2023 against Niagara. He was selected by the Blackjacks again in the 2024 CEBL Draft, first round, and appeared in the team's season opener on May 26.
Guillaume Pépin (Gee-Gees 2018-2023)
Drafted by Ottawa Blackjacks in 2021 CEBL Draft. Made his first appearance in the 2021 CEBL quarterfinal game, recording eight points and five rebounds in a win. Drafted by Ottawa Blackjacks in the 2022 CEBL Draft and made his first appearance of the season on June 27 against Scarborough. Drafted again by the Blackjacks in 2023, Pépin appeared in three games in 2023. For the 2023-24 winter season, Pépin signed with Illiabum of Portugal's Proliga and averaged 20.3 points and 6.8 rebounds per game. He recorded two 30-point games over the 24-game season, including a season-high of 32.
Josh Inkumsah (Gee-Gees 2020-present)
Signed by the Ottawa BlackJacks of the CEBL mid-way through the 2022 season. Dressed for his first game on July 12 at Edmonton and made his first appearance on July 14 at Saskatchewan, recording two points and two rebounds.
Maxime Boursiquot (Gee-Gees 2020-22)
Signed by the Ottawa BlackJacks of the CEBL before the 2022 season. Started the season-opener and first four games, recording a season-high 15 points against Edmonton on June 23, shooting 6-for-6 from the field. Spent the 2022-23 season with the Numberg Falcons BC of the German Pro A league where he averaged 3.4 points and 2.8 rebounds in 14 games and posted a season-high 15 points on November 6 against VFL Astrostars Bochum. He returned to the CEBL and the Blackjacks in 2023, playing in all 21 games and starting six times. He averaged 5.8 points, 3.7 rebounds, 0.8 steals, and 0.9 assists per game over an average of 19.4 minutes played. He recorded a CEBL career-high 18 points against Scarborough on May 30, 2023. Boursiquot signed with the Montreal Alliance for the 2024 CEBL season and started the first four games of the season before an injury.
Gage Sabean (Gee-Gees 2016-22)
Signed by the Newfoundland Growlers of the CEBL before the 2022 season. Dressed for his first game on June 5 and recorded his first points on June 14 vs Guelph.
Calvin Epistola (Gee-Gees 2015-20)
Signed by the Scarbourough Shooting Stars of the CEBL for the 2022 season and dressed for his first game on June 7. Recorded a season-high 12 points against Edmonton on July 20, and averaged 2.4 assists in 12.1 minutes per game. Shot 38 per cent from three-point range, averaging 3.8 points per game. Signed with Jeonju KCC Egis of the Korean Basketball League for the 2022-2023 season.
Sean Stoqua (Gee-Gees 2017-20)
Started his professional career with the Gyumri Falcons of League A in Armenia in 2021. He averaged 15 points, 7 assists, and 5 rebounds per game with Gyumri. Staying within Amenia League A, Stoqua joined Ararat Yerevan in 2022. He later signed with the Ottawa Blackjacks for the 2023 CEBL season.
Jean-Emmanuel Pierre-Charles (Gee-Gees 2016-18)
Started his professional career with Araberri of the LEB Gold league in Spain, signing ahead of the 2018-19 season. He moved to Mexico for the 2019-20 season, playing with Santos de San Luis Potosi of the LNBP. He was the first ever player to sign with the Ottawa Blackjacks in 2020. He then returned to Mexico, this time with Libertadores in 2020.
Caleb Agada (Gee-Gees 2012-2017)
Agada played two seasons with the Burlington Elite of the NBBL during his Gee-Gees career. He has gone on to a decorated pro career in Europe, starting in 2017-18 with CB Prat Juventud of the Spainish LEB Oro league where he averaged 14.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 2.2 steals per game and was named the league's Guard of the Year and Import Player of the Year by EuroBasket. Staying in Spain, he suited up for Melilla Baloncesto in 2018-19, winning the league's Defensive Player of the Year award, and 2019-20 before moving to the Israel-Winner League. He was named League Player of the Week in Israel four times. With Hapoel Be'er Sheva in 2020-21, Agada led the league in points (22.4) and steals (2.4). Agada joined the CEBL's Hamilton Honey Badgers in 2019 and returned for the 2020 series and 2022 seasons. He was named the CEBL's Canadian Player of the Year and helped lift Hamiliton the the CEBL championship.
He spent the 2022-23 season with BC Prometey, a club representing Kamianske, Ukraine in the Latvian-Estonian Basketball League and helped the team win the league title. He averaged 12.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 2.0 steals in 40 games played with the club and scored a season-high 27 points, hitting five triples on January 25 against Bursapor.
In the summer of 2021, Agada played in the NBA Summer Series with the Denver Nuggets. He has also represented Nigeria on the senior national team at the FIBA World Cup Qualifiers, and was selected to the Olympic Team in 2021. Agada signed with Melbourne United of Australia's NBL for the 2021-22 season where he averaged 12 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.4 steals per game, helping the team to a 20-8 record and a semi-finals appearance.
Adam Presutti (Gee-Gees 2016-17)
Began his pro career in 2017-18 with Nová ves of the Slokaian first division. He returned to Nova Ves in 2018-19 and averaged 8.6 points and 2.7 assists. He then moved to Sweden, playing with Umea during the 2019-20 campaign, averaging 9.4 points and 2.6 assists per game.
Mike L'Africain (Gee-Gees 2011-2016)
Began his pro career at CAB Madeira of the Portugese Basketball League, averaging 10.7 points, 1.9 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 1.1 steals and 24.7 minutes in 14 games. Signed with BK Spišská Nová Ves in Slovakia's Extraliga for the 2017-18 season, departing mid-way through to return to Canada.
Zach Traer (Gee-Gees 2012-2016)
Signed with Telstar Hesperange of the Luxembourg Total League in 2017-18, returning for the 2018-19, 2019-20, 2020-21, and 2021-22 seasons as a starter.
Johnny Berhanemeskel (Gee-Gees 2010-2015)
Berhanemeskel began his pro career in 2015 in Estonia where he scored 20.5 points per game and was named the All-Baltic League Import Player of the Year. In 2016-17 he moved to the LEB Oro in Spain and was again a top scorer, averaging 18.9 points per game for Araberri. In 2017-18 he signed with Eisbären Bremerhaven of the German elite league Bundesliga and averaged 13.9 points per game, ranking second on the team. He returned to Spain in 2018-19, this time in the top league, Liga ACB. He split the 2019-20 season in Greece (Larisa B.C.) and France (Boulazac). In eight games in France's LNB Pro A, he averaged 14.4 points per game.
Berhanemeskel returned to France and the LNB Pro A circuit in 2020, this time with Nanterre 92, and again in 2021-22 with Chorale Roanne. His points per game of 17.8 in 2021-22 was a career high for his three seasons in France's top division. He added 2.5 assists and 3 rebounds per game, also career bests in France. He played CEBL basketball with the Ottawa Blackjacks in both 2020 and 2021, as well as three games in 2022. In 2022-23 he played for BC Budivelnyk of Kyiv, Ukraine where he averaged 15.8 points and 3.4 assists per game.
Berhanemeskel has worn the red and white for Canada's senior national team, appearing for the first time at the 2021 FIBA AmeriCup Qualifiers in Puerto Rico. In total he has ten games with Team Canada as of 2023.
Warren Ward (Gee-Gees 2008-2013)
Ward began his professional career in Germay with Trier of the G-BBL in 2013-14. The next season he moved the France's NM1 league and played for Sorgues. His final professional season was in 2017-18 when he posted 14.2 points per game for Caceres CB in Spain's LEB Oro league. Ward also played three seasons in Canada's NBL, suiting up for Mississauga, London, and Windsor. He was named the NBL's Canadian of the Year in 2015-16 with London.
Terry Thomas (Gee-Gees 2013-2014)
Signed with the Hamburg Towers of Germany's second division for the 2014-15 season. He has played in Finland, Chile, and Venezuela, including a 2021 Venezuela Super Liga Finals win Guaiqueríes, with Thomas winning MVP. Thomas has an extensive resume playing professional basketball in Canada with the NBLC and CEBL. He was named the NBLC's Canadian of the Year in 2016-17 with the Island Storm. He earned his second Canadian Player of the Year award with the NBLC's London Lightning in 2022 and was also named the league's 2022 Sixth Man of the Year and Finals MVP as he averaged 17 points and 6.5 rebounds, helping the team to the NBLC Championship. He signed with the Newfoundland Growlers ahead of the 2022 CEBL season. In 2023, Thomas won another NBLC Championship with London and was named All-League Second Team.
Matthew Marshall (Gee-Gees 2010-2012)
Signed with Nova Vés of the Slovakian First Division in 2016-17 and played three seasons. He also played for Spišskí Rytieri in the Slokakia Extaliga in 2016-17, and had three seasons in Canada in the NBL (Niagara) and CEBL (Hamilton).
Joshua Gibson-Bascombe (Gee-Gees 2005-2010)
Signed for the 2010-11 season in the Czech Republic with NH Ostrava and averaged 11 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.8 steals, and 2.0 assists per game.
Ali Mahmoud (Gee-Gees 2002-2003)
Began his career in Lebanon-Division A with Champville SC in 2003-04. He then signed with Sporting Al Riyadi Beirut in 2004-05 and stayed with that club through until 2018-19, with the exception of the 2016-17 season which he spent with Byblos Club. With Sporting Al Ryiadi Beirut, Mahmoud won the League's Domestic Player of the Year award in 2009 and helped the team to the Division A championship in 2019. His number has been retired by the club. Mahmoud was a member of Lebanon's Senior Men's National Team and competed at the 2006 and 2010 FIBA World Championships.
