Bio

Anthony is a third-year human kinetics student from Essex Fells, NJ, who is a dual varsity Gee-Gees athlete; he is a member of both the Gee-Gees Men’s golf and hockey teams. Anthony has been playing golf recreationally since the age of seven and competitively since the age of 15. He played high school golf at Shattuck-St. Mary’s in Faribault, MN, where he led his team to three state championships and finished 7th at the 2011 Minnesota State High School Golf Tournament. He joined the Gee-Gees golf team in 2017 and has consistently been one of the team’s top players. He led the team at the 2018 OUA Championship, where he earned a gold medal (team competition) and a bronze medal (individual competition). During his two seasons with the team, he competed in five NCAA events and registered two top-15 finishes, including a tie for 4th place at a tournament in April 2018.

Outside of competitive golf, Anthony is an outstanding goaltender in hockey; he has been one of the starting goalies for the Gee-Gees men’s hockey team since he joined in the team in 2016. He helped his team finish first in the 2019 OUA regular season. In his three years with the Gee-Gees, he has appeared in 43 games and has achieved a 24-14-2 record, 2.65 goals against average, and a .914 save percentage.
