OTTAWA GAME NOTES

  • Major stat leaders
  • The Gee-Gees are on a three-game win streak following back-to-back games against their crosstown rivals. Defeating the Ravens 3-1 and 7-1, the Gee-Gees remain undefeated at home.
  • Ottawa fell to their upcoming opponents earlier in the season and will be looking to take advantage of being on home ice to even out the score against both Queen's and RMC.
  • Franky Lapenna continues to shine in net for the Gee-Gees, in their games against Carleton, Lapenna stopped 55 of 57 shots over the weekend.

QUEEN'S GAME NOTES

  • Major stat leaders
    • Goals: Dalton Duhart – 12
    • Assists: Dalton Durhart – 12

  • Queen's started the season with a four game win streak, including their win over Ottawa. Following that, the team went on a three-game losing streak. After bouncing back with major wins over TMU and Nipissing, Queen's is coming off a 4-3 loss to McGill.
  • Dalton Duhart leads the OUA in points, goals, and assists. Against Ottawa, Duhart recorded a hat trick and an assist in the 5-3 comeback win.

RMC GAME NOTES

  • Major stat leaders
    • Goals: Austin Saint – 8
    • Assists: Christopher Paquette – 8 
    • Points: Christopher Paquette – 15
  • RMC has struggled to get on their feet this season. Their lone win came in a 5-4 overtime battle over the Gee-Gees.
  • RMC capitalized on the opportunities the Gee-Gees gave them in their first meeting, scoring twice on the powerplay. They also kept Ottawa at bay during their six power plays in the game.
