- The team will be looking for revenge against the UQTR Patriotes as the team cut their season short in 2023-24. Falling to the Patriotes in a tough game three of the OUA semi-final, the Gee-Gees will look to take down the #2 ranked Patriotes early.
- Andrew Belchamber has come in and taken charge. The rookie forward has logged six points in four games, earning his first OUA hat trick against York in the Gee-Gees last game.

- UQTR also said goodbye to their starting goaltender, Alexis Gravel, and in their three games, have split playing time between William Grimard and Charles-Antoine Lavallee who have each picked up a win so far.
