WHAT TO WATCH FOR
- The Gee-Gees will celebrate Senior's Night on Saturday where the team will recognize fifth-year players Brooklynn McAlear-Fanus, Angela Ribarich, Katherine Follis, Tyra Blizzard, and Anne Carr.
- Riding high on returning to the top-ranking in the nation, the Gee-Gees have high expectations heading into a tough final regular season home weekend. On a 14 game winning streak, Ottawa has proven an ability to win games in a wide variety of ways. With the top seed in the OUA playoffs on the line, look for the team to be aggressive to lock up home court advantage.
- In their first meeting since the Marauders defeated the Gee-Gees at Montpetit Hall to win the Critelli Cup last season, Ottawa will be inspired to exact some revenge from last season. With McMaster going on to win the national title, they took longer to establish their footing with a new look team earlier this season. Now, riding a streak of six wins including some against top-flight opponents, the Marauders are hot once again heading into the playoffs.
- Entering the Top 10 for the first time since 2015, Brock has vastly improved their 11-13 season last year as they push to win the OUA Central. The Badgers have not defeated the Gee-Gees since November 2012. The Gee-Gees will have to be sure to not allow Brock to make a statement and take care of business on their home court.
