PLAYERS TO WATCH
At the Capital Hoops Classic, Gee-Gees center Angela Ribarch played one of the best games of her career. Coming off the bench, she led all players in the game with 24 points on 12-18 shooting. In addition, she had five rebounds, a block and a takeaway. If Carleton hopes to have any success on Saturday, they'll need to focus on defending Ribarch in the paint.
In round one of the Critelli Cup playoffs, Madison Reid led the Ravens to a 67-64 victory over the York Lions. She scored 17 points, including a pair of three-pointers and seven rebounds. Carleton had three players in the game reach double digits, and collectively tallied 40 rebounds, split evenly on offense and defence. The Gee-Gees will need to stick to their structure, and defend evenly across all shooters to limit Carleton's chances in the quarterfinal game.
WHAT TO WATCH FOR
Ottawa's Katherine Follis and Carleton's Tatyanna Burke currently rank first and second respectively in the OUA for field-goal percentage. Both teams feature a wealth of accurate shooters throughout the line-up. Expect it to be an offensive showcase at Montpetit Hall
