WHAT TO WATCH FOR
-
Brigitte Lefebvre-Okankwu continued her strong play this season, notching two double-doubles last weekend against the Rams. The fourth year from Gatineau, Que., was named Gee-Gees Female Athlete of the Week for her effort. Coming into the week, she ranked second in the conference averaging 16.5 points per game.
-
Despite Lefebvre-Okankwu's outstanding play, Natsuki Szczokin is leading the Gee-Gees in minutes played. She has put up ten or more points in three of her last four games.
-
Third year Angeline Campbell leads the Lakers offensively. She is averaging 16 points per game in the 2022 calendar year. Remarkably, she recorded just 13 points in Nipissing's lone victory of the season, a 64-60 triumph over Toronto on Feb. 12.
