WHAT TO WATCH FOR
- The Voyageurs and Gee-Gees were slated to play a back-to-back series during the final weekend of the regular season. The games were cancelled due to the Voyageurs going through a COVID-19 protocol.
- The winner of Wednesday's matchup will face the Carleton Ravens in the OUA East Semi-Final. The Ravens earned a first-round bye by virtue of holding the tiebreaker over the Gee-Gees. Both the Ravens and Gee-Gees had identical regular season winning percentages of .714.
- Ottawa enjoyed a tremendous offensive output against Nipissing in their last showing. The team shot just shy of 50 percent from the field in the Friday matchup, and their 88 points scored were the most since a 101-point showing against Ontario Tech in November.
- Brigitte Lefebvre-Okankwu enters the playoffs with double-doubles in four of her last five regular season games. The Gatineau, Que., product has been held to under 10 points just once this year; Ottawa's 57-54 Bytown Battle victory against Carleton.
- Although they were celebrated at a team gathering last weekend, the Gee-Gees will honour the careers of seniors Lefebvre-Okankwu, Anne Carr and Natalie Liguori prior to tipoff. The trio combined for a total of 187 OUA regular season appearances.
