  • Despite falling the Rouge et Or to start the 2023 season, the Gee-Gees went on to defeat their rivals in the RSEQ Championship matchup.
  • Ottawa's season opener was a success on various fronts. Not only did the Gee-Gees earn a 41-8 win on home turf, but the team shared the wealth, seeing rookies and bench players contribute in many ways.
  • Aurora Bowie led the Gee-Gees in scoring during their home opener, logging four converts and a penalty kick for 11 points, earning game MVP honours.

    • Tries: Alexina Tardif-Samson – 3
    • Converts: Adèle Samson – 8
  • The Rouge et Or may have fallen in the 2023 RSEQ Championship game, but they went on to earn the biggest prize, the 2023 U SPORTS National Championship title.
  • Laval started the season with a dominant performance over the Carleton Ravens. The Ravens were unable to score and the Rouge et Or came away with a 71-0 win.
