RECAP: #2 Gee-Gees earn win 115-0 over the Martlets, finish regular season 6-0
The University of Ottawa women's rugby team were in Montreal for their final regular season matchup of the regular season. Taking on the winless McGill Martlets, the Gee-Gees squad was looking to wrap up the season undefeated.
The Gee-Gees did just that, completing the regular season 6-0 after a 115-0 win over the Martlets. Ottawa has earned home field advantage for the duration of the RSEQ playoffs, starting with the semi-finals slated for Oct. 12 at 1 p.m.
Ottawa was quick to establish an opening lead, finding the tryzone in the opening three minutes of play. They continued to apply pressure on both sides of the ball, breaking through any gaps the McGill defence had.

With a 58-0 Ottawa lead, there was still 40 minutes left to play.
Not much changed in the second half. The Gee-Gees continued their onslaught, putting together a 115-0 win to claim victory.
Ella Blyth led the Gee-Gees with four tries, Borsboom contributed 2, and Liliana Davison, Fiona Day, Anna Dodge, Alessia Mastrorillo, Sydney Noseworthy, Deborah Oyetoran, Dorcas Pohe, Grace Sanderson, and Tian Wiens each contributed a try a piece.
