• Ottawa avenged their 2019 playoff defeat by dismantling the York Lions by a 4-0 score in their home opener. The Gee-Gees attempted an eye-popping 24 shots.
• Kaylane Hogue scored two goals in the victory. Gee-Gees defenders combined for five goals in the entirety of the 2019 season.
• Cassidy Joslin enjoyed a quiet afternoon in her first start as a Gee-Gee. She shared the clean sheet with Mariah Harper, who played the final 20 minutes of the match.
• Eight Gee-Gees made their first career appearances Saturday, including Maya Smith and Nibo Dlamini, who both played the full 90 minutes.

ONTARIO TECH GAME NOTES

• The Ridgebacks were held scoreless in their lone match this season, a 1-0 home loss to York.
