- All three of Montréal's players who were selected to conference all-star teams in 2019-20 – Maud Babin, Adryanna Dorismond-Rodrigue and Clémence Provost Lussier – have graduated.
- Each of the last 15 RSEQ Championships have been won by either Montréal or Laval, with the Carabins taking the last six titles.

- Major Stat Leaders
- Kills: Catherine Lavigne – 3.33 per set
- Digs: Emma Bergeron and Maude Frechette – 3.00 per set
- Assists: Emma Bergeron – 8.33 per set
- Sherbrooke had no trouble in their season opener, blanking Laval three sets to none.
- Despite a limited sample size, Marianne Boucher leads the conference in blocks per set with 3.00, while Maude Frechette and Emma Bergeron paces the RSEQ in digs per set. Frechette also has the most service aces per set – 1.00.
- The Vert & Or finished in fourth place in 2019-20, although they had the worst defence in the conference, allowing a total 1722 points (21.80 points allowed per set).
- The RSEQ is the only volleyball conference in U SPORTS that has commenced play, so no Top 10 rankings have been issued for this week. The Vert & Or would receive strong consideration.
