- This will be the Gee-Gees first action in nearly three months. RSEQ women's volleyball returned to competition last weekend, but Ottawa had a bye week.
- Middles Janae McKay and Alana Leung find themselves among the conference's leaders in blocks. McKay is sixth with 0.69 per game, while Leung isn't far back with 0.60 per game.
- The Gee-Gees are fourth in the conference in service aces per game (1.77). They have been steadily improving in his category throughout the season.

- McGill finds themselves in a three-way tie for first in the Quebec conference. Winning six of their last seven matches has vaulted the Martlets into seventh in the U SPORTS Top 10.
- The Martlets .224 hitting percentage is eighth in the country.
- Ottawa head coach Lionel Woods and McGill bench boss Rachele Beliveau have over 60 years of combined university volleyball coaching experience. Beliveau started with McGill in 1991, while Woods' first season in charge of the Gee-Gees was 1992.

- This will be the final match of the RSEQ season. Every other Quebec conference team wraps up their regular season on Friday, Feb. 25.
