Bio

Chris Evraire was a Gee-Gee from 1994-1998 and displayed tremendous ability at the wide receiver positions and in punt returns for uOttawa. After his career in the CIS, Evraire was drafted in the fourth round of the 1998 CFL draft by the Calgary Stampeders. 

Evraire’s time with the Gee-Gees was highly decorated, as he was a five-time All-Conference selection. Additionally he was named to the CIS All-Canadian team three times (1-First team, 2 Second teams) while earning the OQIC’s Most Valuable Player honour in 1996. He held the title in the Gee-Gees record books for receptions in a career (185), reception yards in a career (3031) and is third all time for reception TD’s in a career (17).

Lastly, Evraire hold the CIS record for punt return yards in a career with 2517 yards. He also holds the uOttawa record for punt return yards in a season with 720 which was also 5th in the CIS all-time.
