Bio

Dr. John (Jack) Malloy completed a stellar playing career with the Gee-Gees from 1952 to 1956 by being drafted by the Ottawa Rough Riders. Jack starred as two-way player as offensive guard and defensive tackle. During his three year reign as team captain for the Gee-Gees, Jack won the team’s Mgr. Prud’ Homme Trophy in 1955 and 1956 as the Most Deserving Player.

Upon graduation from the University of Ottawa School of Medicine, Dr. Malloy practiced medicine for 36 years in Thunder Bay, including serving as President of Medical Staff and Chief of Staff at Port Arthur General Hospital and St. Joseph’s General Hospital.
